Dr. Lyle Koca, also known as “Kiroman,” is passionate about sharing his knowledge of chiropractic and chiropractic philosophy. He decided on chiropractic as his profession at the age of 15. After graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA with honors, he opened Koca Chiropractic Clinic in Omaha, NE and has been adjusting his community for 35 years.

Dr. Koca frequently travels to chiropractic groups both large and small, including chiropractic colleges, to share his love, knowledge, and passion for chiropractic. He enjoys helping others see the greatness within themselves.

Dr. Koca’s true passion is being a husband and father. Second to that, he loves the chiropractic profession, especially the Gonstead System, and has been teaching for GMI since 1987. In 2015, he earned his Diplomate in Chiropractic Philosophy (DPhCS). Additionally, he launched a well-received chiropractic coaching firm, Close the Gap, in 2022 to help chiropractic reach even more people.

When he is not adjusting, sharing with fellow chiropractors, or mentoring chiropractic students, Dr. Koca enjoys relaxing with Shawn, his wife of 38 years, and their awesome daughter, Blaike.

Liz Love, DC, DPhCS

Dr. Love is a highly educated and experienced chiropractic professional with a diverse background in health and wellness. Holding a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic and multiple certifications, including Acupuncture and Advanced Chiropractic Proficiency, Dr. [Your Name] has also contributed significantly as a CrossFit coach, health educator, and instructor assistant at the Gonstead Methodology Institute. Additionally, Dr. Love has been actively involved in organizing wellness workshops and educational classes, emphasizing the importance of spinal health and overall wellness.

Joseph Stevens, DC, DPhCS

Dr. Joe takes an advanced structural approach to Chiropractic using the Gonstead Technique which is a specific, precise technique that focuses on correcting the structure of the spine to not only help to alleviate symptoms but to correct the underlying cause of the problem. Dr. Joe has received a post-doctorate Diplomate in the Gonstead Technique of Chiropractic. He is considered an expert within the technique field.

He also has received a post-doctorate Diplomate in Chiropractic philosophy. He currently speaks and teaches at several colleges and seminars around the Midwest.

In his free time Dr. Joe loves to spend time with his wife Katie, his daughter Hope and his son Camden as well as his family and friends. He enjoys playing basketball and sand volleyball. He loves baseball, basketball and football. Dr. Joe is a Hawkeye fan and he is involved in his Church.

Bradley Poock, DC LCP, FPhC

Brad Poock is known internationally for his ability to tackle the most difficult philosophic topics in chiropractic, and deliver them in a way that keeps audiences engaged and offers them tremendous philosophic insight.

Dr. Poock has been involved in chiropractic philosophy for decades, having served on the original ICA Council on Chiropractic Philosophy board with Dr. Fred Barge, later becoming the Council Chair, and has recently rejoined their board to aid in advising the next generation of leaders.

He has been in constant full-time practice for over 30 years, and with his wife, Jennifer, sees patients across the gamut of health condition and age. Dr. Poock is well known for his thorough spinal analysis and care he provides, focused upon the vertebral subluxation, exactly as taught by the finest faculty in the world, Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he graduated with Honors in 1989.

Dan Lyons, DC, LCP, DPhCS

Dr. Dan Lyons obtained dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Biochemistry from UW-Parkside in 1992, after surviving and recovering from a 1990 car accident in which he broke his neck in five places and completely dislocated a segment crushing his spinal cord. With a greater appreciation for what pressure on nerves can do to the body, he shifted his career goals and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1996. While at Palmer, he interned for the world-renowned J. Larry Troxell in the Troxell Intern Program.

Returning to his Wisconsin hometown, he opened his first office before relocating in 2005 to Green Bay, Wisconsin where he continues to practice and remains very engaged in the chiropractic community. He serves on the Board of three chiropractic non-profits – Gonstead Methodology Institute, Gonstead Clinical Studies Society and the Center for Chiropractic Progress. He is a past President of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Palmer Alumni Association.

Dr. Lyons has provided post-graduate education training – technique and analysis seminars and workshops around the country as well as in Europe and Japan. He also serves the profession through his writing in chiropractic journals. Dr. Lyons is a husband and father of two, with whom he loves to share the great outdoors.

Sean Walker, DC, DPhCS

Dr. Walker holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic and a Diplomate in Philosophical Chiropractic Standards from the Center of Chiropractic Progress. With extensive experience at Koca Chiropractic and Optimize Chiropractic, Dr. Walker is dedicated to providing exceptional chiropractic care.

Patrick Montgomery, DC, MS FASA, FICC, LCP

Dr. Patrick Montgomery is a highly experienced second-generation chiropractor with over 47 years of practice. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1976 and holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, along with an M.S. in Clinical Nutrition achieved with Summa Cum Laude honors.

Dr. Montgomery is an accomplished educator, having taught courses on Chiropractic History, Philosophy, Technique, Clinical Nutrition, and Endocrinology at Logan University. He has also lectured at renowned institutions and presented at conferences worldwide. In addition to his teaching career, Dr. Montgomery has made significant contributions to chiropractic literature and served as an editor and co-author of various textbooks. Throughout his private practice, he specialized in pregnancy care, pediatric chiropractic, children’s sports injuries, and special populations within the pediatric community. With his wealth of knowledge and dedication to advancing chiropractic healthcare, Dr. Montgomery continues to make a lasting impact in the field.

Richard Burns, DC, FICA, DPhCS

Dr. Burns is a 1973 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and became a member of the faculty that same year. He became a full professor in 1985. He served as the Chairman of the Technique Department from 1977 to 1999. Dr. Burns has lectured nationally and internationally on the analysis and adjusting of the spine and extremities. He also lectures extensively on the chiropractic care of children. Dr. Burns is well known for his care of difficult cases as well as promoting wellness care for people that realize that true health is more than the absence of symptoms.

Dr. Burns has achieved the status of Fellow in the Gonstead Clinical Study Society and has been named Fellow in the International Chiropractors Association. He has published a textbook used at Palmer College on the examination and care of extremities. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Burns has received numerous awards, most notable being awarded the Chiropractor of the Year by the International Chiropractors Association as well the Lifetime Achievement Award and Chiropractor of the Year by the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association. He was named Faculty of the Year at Palmer College of Chiropractic numerous times. He has also been named to numerous Who’s Who publications including Marquis Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Nationwide Registry Who’s Who Directory of Executives and Business, and the National Directory of Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals.

Jason Louie, DC, DPhCS

Dr. Jason Wing Louie, DC, DPhCS, graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 2002. He opened his practice, True Chiropractic, in Little Canada, MN in 2005 and has trained over 100 interns. He received his Diplomate in Philosophical Chiropractic Standards (DPhCS) in 2010. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the ICA Council for Chiropractic Philosophy.

Rob Sinnott, DC LCP, FPHC, FICA

Dr. Rob Sinnott has been in constant practice in Frankfort, IL since graduating with research honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1989. He is an accomplished textbook author. His first textbook, Sinnott’s—Textbook of Chiropractic Philosophy, has been adopted by chiropractic colleges globally. This esteemed text has been translated into Spanish and French to accommodate this important training into many more countries.

Over the past 20 years, Dr. Sinnott has been a constant champion for bringing together the sound logic of Chiropractic’s philosophy on health and leading-edge science.

Through the publication of his highly acclaimed second text – Sinnott’s Textbook of Human Adaptability – the recognition of Dr. Sinnott’s groundbreaking research has extended across the full spectrum of healthcare professions, advancing on the world stage the importance of regular chiropractic care.

Roger Hynes, DC, DPhCS, FICA

Dr. Hynes is a Professor of Clinical Sciences in the Technique Department at Palmer College of Chiropractic and the College Historian for the Palmer Foundation for Chiropractic History. With a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College and numerous accolades including Faculty of the Year awards, Dr. Hynes has published extensively on the history, science, and philosophy of chiropractic.

Tim Bessette, DC, DPhCS

Dr. Timothy P. Bessette, D.C., FICA, LCP, DPhCS, is a highly experienced chiropractor with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National College of Chiropractic. As the owner of Bessette Chiropractic, P.C., in Villa Park, IL, since 1992, Dr. Bessette has been recognized as an International Chiropractors Association Fellow and has served in leadership roles within the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association.
