In Module 5 participants will learn the details of the chiropractic/legal process and how to use the tools acquired in the first 4 modules to position clinical documentation and clinical decision making to achieve the best chiropractic/legal outcomes. Attendees will learn how to develop excellent relationships and communication with attorneys and how to empower them to use and understand our language and clinical science to better advocate for patients. Specifically, attendees will learn how to write a sophisticated science/evidence-based narrative, how to help the attorney to counter IME’s and demand letter replies and how to prepare for depositions and court testimony. *Please note that this module will not be for CE credit
The Advances in the Management of Traumatic Injuries (AMTI) is a new program offered by the Council of Applied Chiropractic Sciences of the International Chiropractors Association. AMTI is designed to educate chiropractors on up-to-date evidence-based subluxation identification and management due to spinal injuries. This 80-hour, 6 module program will help maximize patient recovery, instruct how to properly document injuries and use the most relevant clinical practice guidelines to support care plans. Upon completion, candidates will receive a certificate.
